manifesto.
Art must be the vessel that translates our thoughts. Our works have the potential to break language barriers and cross borders - unifying our morals and beliefs. Through this vessel, I seek to shed light on the beauty of mundane life and the issues we must tackle to protect it.
From crayons to cheap watercolors, there was no stopping my drive for childhood creativity. My passion for the arts advanced as I aged, and soon I discovered my potential.
Beauty is found everywhere, and it often provokes me to create something. Starting on an empty blank canvas is always a new experience. Blocking out distractions with music and referencing real world objects is the starting point. From there I start out with a light sketch, the body in which I continue to work from. Slowly, I'll begin to hatch out layers to build on values or colors.
